The Ministry of Education and Science and regional state administrations have been instructed to create safe and harmless conditions for the educational process in the field of fire safety by 30 August.
The decision was made following a meeting of the State Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies.
In particular, the Ministry of Education and regional administrations need to ensure that educational facilities are operated in accordance with fire and industrial safety legislation by the end of the summer, and to prohibit the operation of facilities whose activities pose a threat to life and health.
In addition, work should be done to ensure proper control over the implementation of fire and man-made safety measures in educational institutions, as well as to analyse the fire safety status of subordinate educational institutions.
