During the 2026 admission campaign, graduates of previous years will be able to use the results of the national multi-subject test taken in 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 to participate in the competition.
This possibility is envisaged in the draft law "On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine on the Admission Campaign 2026", which the relevant parliamentary committee on education, science and innovation recommended to be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada.
At the same time, the formula for calculating the competition score - taking into account the results in each subject and the relevant weighting factors - will be defined in the updated Procedure for Admission to Higher Education Institutions. The Ministry of Education and Science will publish it separately.
Graduates who already have NMT certificates from previous years but want to improve their score will be able to retake the test in 2026 and submit the score that will be the best for admission.
