The Ministry of Education, together with the EU4Skills programme, has created a guide on blended learning for vocational education institutions.
The manual provides practical advice for managers and teachers on developing a blended learning strategy and creating a safe and comfortable learning environment.
According to Deputy Minister of Education Ihor Garbaruk, students should be able to learn equally effectively in workshops as well as in front of a laptop monitor or on their phones, and thanks to modern technology, such learning is quite possible.
«However, this is a challenge for vocational education institutions, as they need not only to adapt the learning process to new formats, but also to make it as useful as possible for students. The blended learning manual will help organise training easily and clearly, taking into account the needs and interests of students at a particular institution,» said Ihor Garbaruk.
The manual contains teaching guidelines for teachers, applied instructions and illustrations on the use of digital tools.
In addition, the heads of vocational education institutions will learn how to properly organise and manage the educational process in a blended learning environment.
The manual also contains online services and applications that will help in organising online learning, as well as tips on how to motivate and engage students in the learning process.
