The results of the external independent evaluation of graduates show that the more powerful and resourced a school is, the more successful its graduates are.
This was reported by the Ministry of Education and Science, commenting on the need to improve the school network in Ukraine.
In particular, the Ministry notes that measures to improve the educational network, which have been taken recently by local governments in connection with the implementation of the administrative-territorial reform and in accordance with the prospects for the introduction of specialised education in 2027, are aimed at significantly improving the quality and resource provision of education, in particular in rural areas.
«According to the results of the external independent evaluation, the more powerful and well-resourced a school is, the more successful its graduates are. Access to quality education directly depends on the effectiveness of the educational network. It is, in particular, the most effective tool to combat inequality and discrimination in education,» the Ministry of Education and Science emphasises.
In addition, the Ministry noted that the formation of a capable network will take into account the need to provide all components of the educational process, the location of schools, taking into account the place of residence of students, the capabilities of the transport system, the forecast of the demographic situation, the level of provision of teaching staff, the adequacy of school resources, etc.
