The national strategy for the development of inclusive education was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the National Strategy for the Development of Inclusive Education for the period until 2029 and the operational plan for its implementation for 2024-2026.
The corresponding act was supported at the government meeting.
The purpose of the National Strategy is to create conditions for access to quality education for each student in accordance with their individual needs and capabilities.
The national strategy envisages the individualization of education taking into account the abilities and needs of everyone and the promotion of social integration, tolerance and understanding of diversity.
Also, the adoption of the document will contribute to the development of the potential of applicants to achieve maximum results and reduce discrimination in the educational process.
In addition, the strategy provides support for teachers with the necessary resources for effective inclusive education and assistance to local self-government bodies in implementing inclusion policies.
The implementation of the action plan involves improving the monitoring system, improving the quality of services of inclusive resource centers, creating an inclusive environment in educational institutions, providing them with resources, and improving the competencies of teachers.
It is expected that the adoption of the National Strategy will contribute to the implementation of an inclusive approach and ensure equal access to quality education in Ukraine in accordance with best practices.
