The President of Ukraine has signed a law exempting graduates from the mandatory final state examination this academic year.
The relevant draft law was passed by the Parliament on 13 April.
The exemption of secondary school graduates from school exams is expected to reduce the risk of COVID-19 among schoolchildren.
At the same time, students will have the right to undergo a final assessment at their own request, including in the form of an external independent assessment.
All stages of testing will take place as planned, regardless of the level of epidemic danger in the regions of Ukraine.
