In Ukraine, individual interviews and creative assessments have begun for applicants to higher education institutions who have registered to sit these tests via the online portal.
Individual interviews are held for applicants who are entitled to special conditions for participation in the competitive selection process.
Creative entrance examinations are held for applicants to creative, arts and sports degree programmes.
For applicants applying for both state-funded and fee-paying places, entrance examinations at higher education institutions will take place from 8 to 19 July inclusive.
For those applying exclusively for a fee-paying place, these tests will be held before 1 August.
Higher education institutions organise individual interviews and creative competitions in a single stage.
Based on the results of the entrance examination, an applicant may be awarded a pass on a scale of 100 to 200 marks, in increments of one mark. Alternatively, the examination results may lead to a decision to award a fail — «unsatisfactory».
Materials relating to entrance examinations, in particular video recordings of interviews and creative competitions, must be retained for at least one year. After this period, they are destroyed, and a record of this is duly drawn up.
Once the results of the entrance examinations have been published, no later than 12:00 on 6 August, lists will be drawn up of applicants recommended for admission to state-funded and fee-paying places.
Applicants who receive recommendations must fulfil the enrolment requirements by 18:00 on 11 August.
Admission of applicants must take place no later than 13 August.
