In Kyiv, inspections of the vaccination status of employees of educational institutions have begun.
This was announced by the Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Valentyn Mondriyevsky, commenting on the situation in one of the capital's schools, where the staff could not show proof of vaccination.
According to him, more than 10 control groups are involved in the inspections, which are working on a regular basis.
The inspection teams consist of representatives of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection and municipal security officers.
«They work selectively in different districts of the city. We have 423 schools, so they randomly select schools to understand whether there are systemic violations or whether this case with the 13th school is local,» the official said.
He also stressed that the heads of the city's educational institutions should understand their responsibility not in terms of a formal report, but in terms of the safety of the staff and children.
