The Ministry of Education recommended that if the procedure could not be carried out within the planned timeframe due to the situation in specific regions, the certification of teachers should be postponed until the following year.
This is stated in a letter from the Ministry of Education and Science.
Thus, the Ministry of Education reported that, according to the Model Regulations on Attestation, the decision to postpone attestation for one year may be made by attestation commissions at any time and for any valid reasons.
«Such employees will retain their qualification categories (tariff levels) and pedagogical titles until the next regular certification,» the Ministry of Education and Science noted.
The Ministry of Education also reminded that successful completion of the certification is counted as passing the teacher certification and is the basis for assigning the appropriate qualification category or pedagogical title.
