An excessive number of quizzes and tests is not the best way to assess students' knowledge in a rather stressful environment of distance learning.
This was stated by the Minister of Education and Science Serhiy Shkarlet after communicating with schoolchildren during a visit to the Artek International Children's Centre.
According to him, it was useful for him to hear the opinions of children who told the minister about the significant amount of homework and tests.
«In this matter, we need to maintain a balance so as not to shift the entire responsibility for studying a particular subject onto students. In addition, there are many forms of control over the knowledge acquired by students based on interactive approaches,» the Minister of Education said.
