Mykola Azarov made such a decision during the discussion of this law with rectors of leading universities and student representatives.

"We could create an operational group to finalize the law… Mykhailo Zakharovych (Zgurovsky), no one but you should lead it, take on the work, attract experts from other universities, the student body, all those who spoke «for» and «against». Let’s finalize the law in a couple of weeks at the most," Azarov said.

Initially, the Prime Minister proposed to vote on the possibility of withdrawing the draft law from the Verkhovna Rada, but the majority of those present at the discussion did not support such a proposal.

According to Azarov, after finalizing the draft law, he will hold a meeting on this issue again to consider all these amendments and take them into account in the draft law.

We will remind that at the press conference on January 20, Azarov said that the draft law on education can be withdrawn by the Cabinet of Ministers.

The corresponding bill No. 9955 was submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (VR) on December 28, 2011.
